Officer Drew
—Cancer Treatment Fund—2026One of FWPD's very own, Officer Drew was diagnosed with cancer in early 2026. The Panthers mobilized quickly, organizing a benefit campaign to support him and his family through treatment. 'You couldn't ask for a man with a bigger heart.' Officer Drew continues to serve and receive treatment.
Officer Hofer
—Fallen Officer Tribute—2016Officer Hofer was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty. The Panthers honored him at the inaugural Battle of the Badges game in August 2016, partnering with the Euless Jr Stars to pay tribute and raise funds for his family. That event became the annual tradition we know today.
Officer Rogelio Santander
—Fallen Officer Fund—2018The Panthers faced off against the Dallas Police Department at the American Airlines Center Rink of Dreams in a benefit game honoring Officer Rogelio Santander, who was killed in the line of duty. WFAA covered the event, bringing wider attention to the team's mission.
Dallas Stars Adaptive Sports
—Adaptive Athletes Program—2024Proceeds from the 5th Annual 24-Hour Hockey Tournament benefited Dallas Stars Adaptive Sports, a program that provides hockey opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities. The Panthers believe everyone deserves a chance to play the game they love.
